Tala Path ("we", "our", or "the app") is a spiritual companion application for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

We believe in minimal data collection. Most of Tala Path's features work entirely on your device with no data sent to external servers.

Core Principle //
Your spiritual practice is personal. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties except as required to operate Google AdMob advertising services, or use it to profile you, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to profile you. The dhikr you count, the streaks you build, the paths you walk — these stay on your device.

01 // Information We Collect

Tala Path collects minimal information to provide its services:

Usage Data

Zikir counts, streak data, daily goals — stored locally on your device only via UserDefaults. Never transmitted to our servers.

Notifications

If you enable morning/evening reminders, notification permissions are used. No notification content is shared externally.

Advertising Data

We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Analytics

Basic crash reports and app performance data may be collected via Apple's standard frameworks to improve stability.

02 // How We Use Information

The limited data we access is used exclusively to:

— Provide and improve the app's features (streak tracking, daily goals, zikir counter)
— Send push notifications you have opted into
— Display advertisements through Google AdMob
— Diagnose and fix technical issues

We do not use your data for profiling, targeted marketing beyond AdMob's standard operation, or any purpose not listed here.

03 // Third-Party Services

Tala Path integrates the following third-party services:

Google AdMob

Displays banner advertisements. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy

Apple Push Notifications

Used to deliver morning and evening reminders you opt into. Apple's privacy policy applies.

We do not integrate social media SDKs, tracking pixels, or any other third-party analytics beyond what is listed above.

04 // Data Storage & Security

All user-generated data (zikir history, streak counts, personal goals, BEYOND progress) is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage system (UserDefaults). This data is not transmitted to any external server.

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.

05 // Children's Privacy

Tala Path is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.

06 // Your Rights

Since most data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

— Delete all app data by uninstalling Tala Path
— Disable push notifications in iOS Settings → Tala Path
— Opt out of personalized ads through iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking
— Contact us with any data-related request

07 // Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Tala Path after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
